Sobre la obra:
La pieza opera mediante un sistema de goteo que actúa sobre una pila de pósters, cada uno con la imagen repetida de una boca abierta. Con el paso del tiempo, el agua erosiona lentamente el papel hasta generar un hueco. Así, en el acto de su destrucción, emerge la imagen de su propia desaparición.
Se trata de una obra con un carácter temporal, donde la forma es transformada por el espacio-tiempo, permitiendo que los cambios ocurran por fuerzas fuera del control del artista. Y en este proceso surgen preguntas como: ¿Qué perdura y qué desaparece con el tiempo? ¿Quién depende de quién? La obra nos recuerda también que hay procesos –como el agua que se derrama– que no pueden revertirse.

The piece operates with a drip system that acts on a stack of posters, each bearing the repeated image of an open mouth. Over time, the water slowly erodes the paper until a hole is made. In this act of destruction, the image of its own disappearance begins to emerge.
This is a time-based work in which form is shaped by space-time, allowing change to unfold through forces beyond the artist’s control. In the process, questions arise: What endures and what vanishes over time? Who depends on whom? The work also reminds us that some processes –like spilled water–cannot be reversed.
