Sobre la obra:
La escultura plantea diversos contrastes presentes a lo largo de mi producción, como peso / ligereza, ausencia / presencia, línea curva / línea recta y movimiento / quietud. Asimismo, combina elementos naturales e industrializados que remiten tanto al paisaje urbano como al natural.
El contenedor sugiere un espacio propio, un territorio cubierto de plantas de hierbabuena que, al activar el sentido del olfato, expande sus límites físicos. Esta interacción invita a reflexionar sobre la espacialidad escultórica y sobre cómo el aroma –primitivamente ligado a la memoria– aporta una presencia singular en cada espectador. También la presencia/ausencia del cuerpo se hace tangible a través de las huellas sobre las placas de concreto cubiertas de agua.
Estas marcas señalan un punto desde el cual volver a tomar posición, intensificado por los significados simbólicos de la hierbabuena: renovación, crecimiento, purificación y serenidad.

About:
The sculpture explores various contrasts present throughout my work, such as weight / lightness, absence / presence, curved line / straight line, and movement / stillness. It also combines natural and industrial elements that refer both to the urban and natural landscape.
The container suggests a space of its own, a territory covered with peppermint plants that, by activating the sense of smell, expands its physical boundaries. This interaction invites reflection on sculptural spatiality and on how the aroma – primitively linked to memory – brings a unique presence to each viewer. The presence/absence of the body is also made tangible through the marks left on the concrete slabs covered with water.
These marks indicate a point from which to take position again, intensified by the symbolic meanings of peppermint: renewal, growth, purification, and serenity.
