La pieza explora un espacio intermedio entre fotografía y escultura, donde la imagen abandona su bidimensionalidad para ocupar el espacio como objeto. El cuerpo aparece reducido a una línea que sostiene el peso, mientras la piedra funciona como un punto sobre el plano, remitiendo tanto al dibujo como a la construcción escultórica.
Por otro lado, la obra alude a la experiencia compartida de cargar y resistir un peso físico, emocional o económico, vinculando esta tensión con la precariedad implícita en la noción de “peso” como valor y moneda (Mexicana).
