El tríptico toma como punto de partida la observación del paisaje Texano desde la ventana de un coche o autobús. La secuencia no solo solo enfatiza la idea de movimiento, sino también la influencia de la cámara de mis trabajos previos con la fotografía y el video. Esta conexión se refleja en la forma en que reencuadro y abordo el espacio pictórico. Al mismo tiempo, realizo un guiño al paisaje norteamericano; específicamente a Edward Hopper, su gusto por los viajes y la idea de observar a través de la ventana.

The triptych takes as its point of departure the observation of the Texan landscape as seen through the window of a car or bus. The sequence not only emphasizes the idea of movement, but also reflects the influence of the camera derive from my previous work in photography and video. This connection is evident in the way I reframe and engage with the pictorial space. At the same time, the work offers a nod to the North American landscape—specifically to Edward Hopper, his affection for travel, and the act of observing through a window.
